Yuri Lebedev is a Russian attorney and Advisor to Sapronov Government Affairs, Inc. He focused his practice on Russian commercial real estate, construction, and financial law, as well as specific aspects of private and public international law.

With over 30 years of experience, Yuri has advised a diverse range of clients, including major US, European, and Russian corporations (such as Cisco and General Electric), as well as for international and intergovernmental organizations (notably the UN, foreign embassies, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development).

Previously, Yuri held legal positions at the Moscow office of Baker & McKenzie – CIS, Limited, and the Moscow and London offices of Linklaters. Early in his career, he worked as a legal assistant to one of the committees of the Supreme Soviet (Parliament) of the Russian Federation, which sparked his lifelong interest in political science and international relations.
