Sean Ekhlas, Esq., Of Counsel to the firm, graduated Cum Laude from Georgia State University College of Law, and he is an active member of the State Bar of Georgia in good standing. Sean is also licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and outside of the US.
Sean earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Law from the PNU School of Law and his master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law Magna Cum Laude from ATU School of Law overseas. After completing Arbitration training courses with ICC Paris, the American Arbitration Association, and the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, he participated in numerous national and international commercial disputes as an arbitrator or counsel.
He was elected as a two-year term honored member of the Arbitration Award Scrutiny Tribunal in one of the overseas most prestigious arbitration centers and served as an outstanding member. In addition, Sean is a member of the London International Court of Arbitration and a registered neutral in Georgia Courts.
Sean has handled numerous high-profile international and statewide commercial disputes. As part of his practice, while representing his clients from the U.S., UAE, Turkey, Oman, France, Germany, South Korea, and Taiwan, Sean had the ultimate opportunity to draft numerous contracts in different fields such as Transfer of Technology, Merger Acquisition, Build Operation Transfer, Sales of Goods, Auto and Auto Part Manufacturing, Buy Back, Construction, Telecommunications, Jewelry, Gaming, Transportation, and other branches of law.
Before becoming a lawyer and arbitrator and simultaneous to his law school studies, Sean was a successful business owner in Forsyth County, GA between 2005 and 2008.
Sean joined and served as a volunteer attorney at Atlanta Legal Aid, a free civil legal aid for low-income across metro Atlanta.
