THE FCC’S LONG AWAITED NET NEUTRALITY DECISION WAS ANNOUNCED ON FEBRUARY 26, 2015, WITH NEW OPEN INTERNET RULES APPROVED BY 3-2 VOTE.

Update on the FCC Net Neutrality Decision!

As you are no doubt aware, the Federal Communications Commission has voted 3-2 to adopt rules that will shape the future of the Internet. The text of the decision has not yet been released but House Republican leaders have already stated that the FCC’s vote marks only the beginning – not the end – of this important debate. The war over Internet regulation has just begun.

In anticipation of this historic event, our Firm, along with industry colleagues, conducted a TeleBriefing to discuss an initial reaction to the FCC’s decision from recognized law firm, industry and Wall Street representatives. The Tele-Briefing was sponsored by Law Seminars International (LSI) on Tuesday, March 3, 3:00 – 4 P.M. EST.
